The New Jersey Nets have waived veteran forward/center Stromile Swift, who did not dress for their game Sunday night against New Orleans. Swift, who was acquired from Memphis in a February 2008 trade for center Jason Collins and cash considerations, appeared in six games for the Nets this season.
